Events
Saltwater Studies is not your average tour operator! Boutique tours with professional, knowledgeable guides are our specialty. We limit our group sizes to maximize your opportunity to spot marine life, ask questions and enjoy personal interaction with your guide. Each event is carefully planned in consideration of tide, water, and weather conditions to give participants the best experience possible. In the event of inclement weather or unfavorable conditions, please expect for your tour to be rescheduled. Unfavorable conditions may include, depending on the nature of the event, high waves, low water visibility or the presence of thunderstorms. In the event of unfavorable conditions, you will be given the opportunity to join a future tour date, or you will be given a credit that can be applied to any other Saltwater Studies event.
Accreditation
Saltwater Studies maintains both an Aquatic Species Collection Permit and Scientific Research/Collecting Permit issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection that enables us to perform sampling and collection activities during our field trips in South Florida and in Florida State Parks.
Saltwater Studies is also an approved vendor for the Family Empowerment Scholarship - Unique Abilities (formerly the Gardiner Scholarship) and the Personalized Education Program (PEP) with Step Up for Students as well as the FES-UA with the AAA Scholarship Foundation. Administration fees and some conditions may apply. Contact Saltwater Studies for details.

Biblically-Based Tours
Saltwater Studies offers both secular and biblically-based events. For secular events, discussion will focus on biological information. Biblically-based events will open in prayer and discussion will include how we can see the character of God in Creation as discussed in Romans 1:20. These events close with a time of praise for God’s blessings during the field trip.
