Why Donate?

Saltwater Studies thrives on being unique as a for-profit ministry. When Saltwater Studies was first incorporated, designation as a for-profit company was deemed necessary as it is often more efficient than a non-profit corporate struture. The downside of having a for-profit designation is that Saltwater Studies is ineligible for many alternative funding sources such as grants, etc. However, it has always been the heart of Saltwater Studies to provide an excellent standard of education in the most affordable way possible. For this reason we welcome financial donations from those who are led to support our ministry efforts. If you would like to donate to Saltwater Studies to help offset program costs, increase available scholarships and fund program expansion, you may do so via either Zelle or Venmo. Thank you for your support and encouragement!

Future Goals: Video Productions

A quick internet search will reveal that there is a great need for biblically-based video content focusing on the marine environment. Saltwater Studies is seeking to expand its ministry reach by creating a biblically-based YouTube web series featuring the ocean and its inhabitants. Christa Jewett, Saltwater Studies’ founder, has been shooting underwater video and building a video library featuring marine life local to South Florida since 2018. Lack of available resources has prevented Saltwater Studies from moving forward in transforming this footage into an online educational resource. The Lord has emphasized to Christa that this is the next priority for Saltwater Studies as a web-based video series will offer the opportunity to share the message of Jesus Christ through the beauty of the ocean to a national and possibly even global audience. The ultimate goal is to eventually create worship-inspiring ocean documentaries that celebrate our Creator.
