Species Lists

Facilitate your beach exploration with these curriculum resources! These species lists provide information regarding marine life commonly spotted at three different South Florida locations: Mizell-Johnson State Park in Dania Beach, Ocean Inlet Park in Boynton Beach and Dubois Park in Jupiter. Compiled information reflects knowledge gained over hundreds of hours at each of these sites and includes interesting facts as well as the best time and location to spot each species.

Each set includes nine (9) different species lists that cover various ecosystems present at each location. Each of the nine (9) species lists includes five (5) to nine (9) different plant, animal or algae species. Content is presented from a neutral perspective. Available in digital (pdf) format.

These species lists reflect information reviewed in the Adventure Learning Series for students 5-12 years of age.
