Bathtub Reef Snorkel

Snorkel Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Participants will be led on a snorkel in the beautiful, turquoise waters of Bathtub Reef Beach and the adjacent lagoon. Bathtub Reef is an artificial reef runs parallel to the shoreline creating an excellent habitat for reef creatures and all sorts of marine life.  Naturally occurring limestone formations also line the north end of the beach, providing an opportunity to explore tide pools in the shallow waters at low tide.  All participants must be strong swimmers and have their own snorkeling equipment. It is recommended that snorkelers wear water shoes instead of snorkel fins. Participants will meet in the parking lot of Bathtub Reef Beach in Stuart, Florida (1585 SE MacArthur Blvd, Stuart, FL 34996). Participants must bring their own water and snacks.

Cost: $30 per person
Expenses: None. There is no park entrance fee.
