BIBLICALLY-BASED EVENT
ONE-TIME EVENT
ADAPTIVE TOUR - Able to accommodate participants of all mobility levels.

What to Expect: This is a hands-on laboratory that offers a biblically-based overview of environmental health and conservation or water resources. After a marine biologist reviews the importance of water quality sampling as a monitoring tool, participants will learn how to collect water samples and analyze them for various parameters such as turbidity, dissolved oxygen and pH. They will then compare their results to state standards to draw conclusions about waterway health. Participants will be provided with all necessary field guides, study materials and equipment. This event will have a maximum of 12 students.

Who Can Attend: Children 8 years old and older. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent. All children attending this event must be registered students. Siblings of any age, including infants, littles or older siblings, may not accompany registered students.

What to Bring: Participants should wear beach attire appropriate for the South Florida sun and bring a filled water bottle.

Where to Meet: Participants will meet at Phil Foster Park (900 Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach, FL 33404). We will meet at the bathroom building on the west side of the parking lot.

Cost: $60 per student
