Marine Life Presentation

Join Saltwater Studies for fun, interactive discussion on Florida’s local marine life! A marine biologist will provide information regarding a variety of local marine species, incorporating a number of exciting visual aids and specimens. This presentation does not include any beach or water activities but families are welcome to enjoy the park either before or after the presentation.

Registration is required to attend.

Cost: $25 per family
(Please be sure to list all participants of all ages on registration form to ensure that we do not exceed the facility’s capacity.)

Meeting Location: Environmental Education Facility in Mizell-Johnson State Park, Dania Beach, FL, 6503 N Ocean Dr, Dania Beach, FL 33004
The Environmental Education Facility is located on the west side of the park off the Intracoastal Waterway. Park in Parking Lot #3 and walk across the street to the boardwalk allowing access to the facility. The boardwalk is marked with a sign.

Expenses:  There is a $6.00 per vehicle park admission fee (2-8 people per vehicle). The park has waived this fee for those participating in this event. Upon arrival at the park, tell the park ranger that you are attending a Saltwater Studies event and they will waive the entrance fee for you.

Saltwater Studies’ biblically-based events include a discussion on both biological information as well as how we can see the character of God in Creation. Secular events focus on biological information only.

Cancellation Policy

One-Time Events (Field Trips or Classes).  Individuals: If unexpected circumstances require you to cancel or reschedule your registration to receive either a refund or credit, respectively, you must provide Saltwater Studies with at least 48 hours notice. Refunds will be for the total amount paid less the non-refundable merchant service fee assessed by Stripe, PayPal, etc. If a credit is preferred, a credit will be issued for the total amount paid and will be valid for one year from the date of the event for which you originally registered. The credit can be applied to any future Saltwater Studies event, product or service. No refunds or credits will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event or for non-appearances. In the event that unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, illness, park closure or water use restrictions etc. require Saltwater Studies to cancel the event, the event will be rescheduled, if possible. If you are not able to attend the rescheduled event, you will be issued a credit that will be valid for one year from the date of the event from which you originally registered and can be applied to any future Saltwater Studies event, product or service.
