Participants will be provided with a biblically-based overview of basic identification methods and common marine fish species seen in South Florida. Participants will be provided with field guides and worksheets to assist them in identifying various reef fish. This is an excellent introduction to species identification and is highly recommended as a precursor to the Saltwater Studies’ snorkeling field trips. Food is not allowed at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center so please plan accordingly. Participants will meet in the parking lot at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center (1801 North Ocean Blvd. Boca Raton, FL 33432).
