Meeting Location

Meeting Location: John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, 10900 Jack Nicklaus Dr, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. We will meet at the Education Center located inside the park.
Parking Fee: There is a $6 park admission fee that must be paid upon entering the park. Both cash and credit card are accepted.
Facility Amenities: Park amenities include a playground, picnic tables, outdoor showers and bathrooms. Please note that there are no amenities at Munyon Island.

Class Activity

Mangrove Kayak
Students will be led on a guided kayak to Munyon Island, an island in the Intracoastal Waterway that is only accessible by boat.

Appropriate Attire: Students must wear their swimsuits, beach-appropriate clothing and water shoes.
