Meeting Location

Boynton Beach Inlet Park, 6990 N Ocean Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33435
Upon entering the park, turn left. We will meet under one of the covered pavilions.

Parking Fee: None.

Facility Amenities: Park amenities include picnic tables, a playground, outdoor showers and bathrooms.

Class Activity

Shelling Tour
Students will be provided with a discussion on sea shell identification and then led on a beach walk to search for their own shells to add to their collections. Depending on conditions, we may walk a significant distance in search of seashells. Buckets will be available for student use, if desired. Students may also bring their own shelling bags, if preferred.

Appropriate Attire: Students must wear beach-appropriate clothing that can get wet. If seas are calm, we may wade in the shallow area along the shoreline in search of seashells.
