Water or Beach Activity
Beach or Water Activity
Students will be led on a wading tour of the mangrove area in Dubois Park. Students will be provided with nets and buckets to capture and view marine life.
Appropriate Attire: Students should come prepared to get wet! Students should wear beach-appropriate clothing and close-toed water shoes. (We will be wading through muddy areas where flip-flops or sandals can easily be sucked off their feet.)
Appropriate Attire: Students must wear their swimsuits and beach-appropriate clothing and bring their own snorkel and mask. Swim fins are not allowed during Saltwater Studies events, but water shoes are recommended as an alternative. All students will be required to wear snorkel vests provided by Saltwater Studies as a safety precaution.
