SECULAR EVENT
ONE-TIME EVENT

What to Expect: This event offers hands-on exploration of the hidden clues animals leave behind! As we walk along the beach and nearby dunes, we’ll search for signs of wildlife such as drill holes in shells, woodpecker marks on trees, caterpillar bites in leaves, crab burrows in the sand, turtle tracks — and even scat! Discover how these traces tell the story of the animals that call the coast home. This event will have a maximum of 12 students.

Who Can Attend: Children 4 years old and older. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent. All children attending this event must be registered students. Siblings of any age, including infants, littles or older siblings, may not accompany registered students.

What to Bring: Participants should wear beach attire appropriate for the South Florida sun and bring a filled water bottle.

Where to Meet: Participants will meet at Ocean Reef Park (3860 N Ocean Dr, Riviera Beach, FL 33404) on Singer Island. We will meet at the picnic table near the bathrooms.

Cost: $45 per student

Expenses: None.

Saltwater Studies’ biblically-based events include a discussion on both biological information as well as how we can see the character of God in Creation. Secular events include a neutral presentation that focuses on biological information only.
