Summer Camp | Week 3 (Secular)

Join Saltwater Studies for a fun, interactive week at the beach! During this week, students will be led in an exploration of a variety of marine animals such as reef creatures, tide pool life, creeping crabs, sea turtles and whales and dolphins. As a secular week of summer camp, our discussion will focus solely on biological information. Activities will include a variety of hands-on activities, beach walks and swimming.

This Summer Camp will meet daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Age Group: 2nd to 6th Grade

Cost: $290 per student (with 20% sibling discount)

Tentative Daily Schedule

9:00 AM | Drop-off

9:00 - 9:45 AM | Discussion on Daily Topic

9:45 - 10:15 AM | Activity #1 (Laboratory or Game)

10:15 - 11:15 AM | Activity #2 (Beach Walk, Field Activities)

11:15 AM - 12:00 PM | Swimming

12:00 - 12:30 PM | Lunch

12:30 PM | Pick-Up

Deposit

A $50 deposit is required to reserve your child’s space for this event. This deposit is non-refundable unless Saltwater Studies cancels the event due to low registrations in which case your deposit will be refunded to you. The balance of the payment for this event is due by July 1, 2019.

General Information

  • All students must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water.

  • All students must bring their own lunch, water and snacks.

  • All students must have a completed liability waiver and emergency contact form in order to participate in this event.

  • This event will have a maximum of 15 students. Registration is available on a first-come/first-served basis.
