God's Sovereignty

"Jesus answered and said to him, 'What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.'" John 13:7 (NKJV)

There are numerous aspects of God's Creation that when viewed initially might cause you to scratch your head and say, "Huh?" This is one of them. This is a sand collar. At first glance it appears to be no more than a bit of trash on the sea floor. In actuality, it is an egg mass produced by one of the most beautiful snails found locally, the Shark's Eye (google it!). This snail breeds by laying its eggs in the surf zone and cementing them with sand. The egg mass produced is rubbery, flexible and collar-shaped. So what appears to be nothing more than trash represents the lives of thousands of future snails, something that will be revealed once they hatch. Similarly, God says that there will be times in our lives when He chooses to work in mysterious ways. We may not understand what He is doing until He is finished with that work. Our responsibility in such situations is to wholeheartedly trust ourselves into the hands of our loving Father. He has good things in store for His children.
